Claude Monet famously visited Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Garden’s in the late summer of 1889.
Such was the impact of the lilies beauty here in Yorkshire, it later inspired him the built his own Burnby Hall like gardens in Giverny, you can recreate this extraordinary painting recently discovered in Pocklington that is a testament to his time spent in the town.
